How we cope with winter in Norway

Now that Christmas is over, most of us in the Nordics are looking towards the spring a little. Maybe with hope and impatience or maybe longing for winter to carry on a bit longer. We still have many weeks left of winter. Even in southern Norway we can't expect the snow to disappear before the beginning of May and there have been years when we have had snow falls in the middle of May. Further north they will still be under snow even then.
