Spruce Tip Sugar (Granskudd Sukker), a Perfect Nordic Sprinkle

Spruce tip sugar is easy to make and adds a delicious flavour to sweet dishes.

As soon as the weather gets a little warmer in Norway the pine trees begin to grow tiny little lime green coloured tips on the ends of the branches. In Norwegian these are called granskudd or spruce tips and they are very popular.
