I don't know if I even want to say it, but November is considered the first winter month in the Nordics. This time last year we had freezing temperatures and the first snow falls, but this year feels very different. We have beautiful blue skies, temperatures into the low teens (centigrade) and no proper frost yet. I have even been spending the last few days drying washing outside like so many of my neighbours.
