Nordic Wildlife in Late Autumn

November in the Nordics is a month of quiet transition. The colours of October have faded, and the heavy snow winter hasn't arrived yet (or at least not at the time I write this!). The days grow shorter and darker, and the world seems to slow down, almost holding its breath before winter truly begins. It’s easy to think that nature has gone to sleep — that the forests, lakes, and meadows have fallen silent — but if you take the time to look closely, you’ll see that life is still very much present. The Nordic wildlife in late autumn tells a story of preparation, patience, and quiet endurance. Natures version of that famous Finnish grit called sisu.
