How to Have Some Winter Nordic Hygge

Winter is almost upon us and I thought it was time we did a little re-check on how we keep cosy and positive in the Nordics in the winter.


As you know winter here is long and harsh with temperatures very low and plenty of ice and snow. What better way to embrace the chilly season than by indulging in the cosy concept of hygge. Originating from Denmark, hygge embodies the feeling of contentment, coziness, and well-being that comes from enjoying simple pleasures. In Nordic countries, where winters are long and dark, hygge is a way of life—a philosophy that celebrates warmth, togetherness, and finding joy in the little things.
