What is Christmas Like in a Norwegian Village

Christmas in Scandinavia is always magical. The weather is cold and fresh and we usually have lots and lots of snow which covers everything in a soft, quiet blanket. The world smells of pine, woodsmoke and Christmas spiced and everything is sparkly and glittering.
Join me for a few minutes as we take a journey through my little village in Norway and share what Christmas in a small rural Norwegian community is really like:

One of my favourite things at Christmas here in Norway is the Christmas markets. Can you believe that even the tiniest little village will have a Christmas market? This year there have been markets at local farms, at the retirement home and a special one at a wonderful little hamlet in our village called Videråsen.
