Velkommen desember, Welcome December!

The festive season has begun in my little corner of Norway!! Actually to be honest, it began in my house a little earlier. I put the outside lights up a few weeks ago. It's been a difficult year and I wanted to bring a little extra joy to the winter. Plus I do like the sparkly lights up right through the winter and into the spring. I might take a few down in January, but it's lovely to have some gentle light outside when the day are so short.

December in the Nordics is a magical time of year. Christmas is something special here with the long nights, short days and snowy landscape. If we are lucky we might see the Northern Lights, making the month even more special.
