4-Korn Brød (Norwegian 4 Grain Seed Bread)


Nordic cuisine is famous for its hearty and healthy bread. There aren't many Nordic meals that are without bread and it's a staple of the Nordic breakfast and lunch tables or matpakke" (packed lunches). Open sandwiches are a "thing" here and in order to be able to put a substantial amount of tasty fillings on top of your bread (we want that, right!) you need a loaf that is going to hold up well and not fall apart at the first sign of an italiensksalat or eggrøre. A soft floppy white loaf simply won't cut it!
